The minister of the Environment, Tasneem Essop, presented an award to Lance Nash on behalf of the Nash Family at the C.A.P.E. (Cape Action for People and the Environment) Awards night at Kirstenbosch on Wednesday evening, 16th May.

The citation recognises the Nash Family - Rhenosterkop as a committed partner in South Africa's programme for sustaining life in the fynbos and adjacent shores with respect to stewardship of a priority biodiversity site in the Cape Floristic Region.
